Workforce Housing for the People Building Southern Louisiana’s Future

Crew Ground Housing LLC develops safe, comfortable, and professionally managed accommodations for the skilled workers supporting Starbase Louisiana and other major projects across the region.

Our goal is straightforward: give tradespeople, engineers, construction professionals, technical crews, and other traveling workers a dependable place to call home while they are on assignment.

Built for Working People

Major projects bring skilled people together from across the country. Those workers need more than a temporary parking space—they need a clean, secure, and comfortable place where they can rest, recharge, and feel at home between shifts.

Crew Ground Housing plans to develop extended-stay RV communities and is evaluating workforce lodges and other forms of accommodation. Each facility will be planned around the practical needs of working residents and the businesses that employ them.

Supporting a Growing Regional Workforce

Crew Ground Housing is initially focused on Vermilion Parish and the surrounding Acadiana region, including Abbeville, Kaplan, Erath, Delcambre, Perry, and neighboring communities.

The planned Starbase Louisiana development and related aerospace, engineering, construction, logistics, energy, infrastructure, and industrial activity are expected to bring new workforce-housing needs to the region.

We are preparing to meet those needs thoughtfully—by identifying appropriate sites, understanding employer demand, working through local approval processes, and developing facilities suited to both their residents and their locations.

For Employers and Project Teams

Help Us Understand Your Housing Needs

We invite businesses anticipating temporary or extended-stay workforce needs to submit a nonbinding expression of interest.

Early conversations about crew size, assignment duration, preferred locations, accommodation types, parking, transportation, and services will help us plan facilities around real operating requirements.

We welcome inquiries from:

  • Construction companies

  • Engineering and technical firms

  • Aerospace contractors

  • Industrial and energy companies

  • Infrastructure providers

  • Logistics and transportation businesses

  • Government contractors

  • Other employers bringing workers to the region

Creating the Right Places

Good workforce housing begins with choosing the right location and planning it responsibly. Crew Ground Housing evaluates access to worksites, transportation, utilities, drainage, local services, environmental conditions, and the needs of the people who will live there.

We also consider how each development will fit within its surroundings. We intend to work constructively with landowners, municipalities, public agencies, local businesses, and neighboring property owners throughout the planning and approval process.

Our goal is to create safe, professionally managed workforce housing that serves its residents, operates responsibly, and complements the community in which it is located. Being a good neighbor is part of how we intend to plan, build, and operate every Crew Ground Housing community.
